Ann literally grew up in the wine business, as the fourth generation of a family owned wine distribution company.  Her family eventually sold their business to Southern Wine & Spirits.  Ann has also worked in restaurant sales for Southern Wine & Spirits in New York City and subsequently in sales management, operations, and chain account management for Young's Market Company in California and Oregon and Horizon Beverage in Massachusetts.

Several years ago, she moved from wholesale distribution into brand management and marketing for Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits where she was General Manager for several medium-sized import wine brands and continued to build her skills as Director of Marketing for K Vintners.

Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts in both History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust in London.  She lives in Seattle with her husband, a private equity investor, and their daughter.  Ann is a voracious reader and avid skier with a deep commitment to a number of culture, business, and economic podcasts.
