Andy brings a unique mix of start-up, emerging company and large corporate background to Metis. He is Partner in a successful Oregon Winery, four Oregon hospitality businesses and was integral to the building and selling three other consumer facing businesses. This experience gives Andy the empathy and perspective to listen and serve each client’s needs.
Early in his career Andy worked in Engineering and Marketing roles with Westinghouse,
Eastman Kodak and Reckitt Benckiser before graduating to the more entrepreneurial challenge of Falcon Safety Products (manufacturer of Computer and Boating Accessories) where, over twenty years, he led the company through a ten-fold revenue growth.
Since moving to Oregon, Andy has been Partner in two Computer Accessory businesses, Hard Candy Cases and Mobelisk, both of which were later sold to Private Equity firms.
He is currently a Partner in Walter Scott Wines, three Portland Restaurants (Little Bird, Le Pigeon and a the soon to open Canard), plus DigitalPour, a software business supporting Tap Houses and Brew Pubs worldwide.
Andy graduated with Honors from Carnegie-Mellon University earned his MBA from the University of Chicago. He and his wife Sue (a Wine Industry Attorney) live in Salem, Oregon with a collection of chickens, birds and cats. He enjoys cooking, wine, travel, and aspires to be a successful vegetable gardener.
