We are proud to announce the sale of Marsh Family Estate, a distinguished vineyard property in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon, to ROCO winery, a wholly owned subsidiary of Santa Margherita USA, part of Italy’s Santa Margherita Gruppo Vincolo.

Founded by Doug and Pat Marsh in 2007, Marsh Family Estate is a grand 10,000 square-foot European-style villa with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Dundee Hills and Savannah Ridge surrounded by their exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyard.

This transaction was particularly satisfying, as the sale closed exactly three years to the day after Santa Margherita acquired ROCO, another Metis client. Marsh Family Estate will be a key estate vineyard for ROCO and serve as a future home for wine lovers to enjoy wines from both ROCO as well as several Italian wineries also owned by the Marzotto family.

"We are thrilled with this acquisition as it aligns with my family's belief in the potential of the Willamette Valley and the broader Oregon wine industry," said Vittorio Marzotto, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Santa Margherita USA. "This property enhances our agricultural capabilities and allows for future development of the hospitality aspect of our business."
